— I / THE LOAN

The headline mechanics.

Five answers about what Trust Line actually offers — rate, range, term, security, and the catalogue.

N° 01 What is the actual interest rate?
A flat 3.00% annual interest, fixed at signature. The rate has not changed since the firm's first loan in 2008. There is no introductory teaser, no variable component, and no rate that resets after a defined period.
N° 02 How much can I borrow?
From €500 (Emergency) to €1,000,000 (Mortgage). The figure that fits your file depends on income, debt service, residency, and the product you select.
N° 03 Over what term can I repay?
Between 3 months (Emergency) and 240 months / 20 years (Mortgage). Within each product, the exact term is your choice — pick what makes the monthly figure liveable.
N° 04 Do I need to pledge collateral?
Most products are unsecured. Collateral is required only for the Mortgage product (the property itself secures the loan) and, occasionally, for the upper end of the Business range. The other ten products run on income verification alone.
N° 05 How many products are in the catalogue?
Twelve, organised by use-case: Personal, Business, Mortgage, Consolidation, Education, Medical, Auto Refinance, Wedding, Emergency, Renovation, Travel, and Agricultural. The full catalogue is published on the Lending page.
— II / ELIGIBILITY

Who qualifies.

Five answers about the underwriting criteria — age, residency, income, credit file, and the document set.

N° 06 Who can apply?
Any individual aged 18 to 70 with legal residency in the EU or EEA, regular verifiable income, and no active credit default. Self-employment, salaried employment, pensions, and rental income all qualify as income.
N° 07 Do I need a perfect credit file?
No. A clean file is preferred but not mandatory. Historical issues that have been fully resolved for two years or more do not preclude approval. We do, however, decline files showing active default, judgment, or insolvency.
N° 08 What is the maximum debt-service ratio?
40%. The sum of your existing monthly credit obligations, plus our proposed loan's monthly payment, must not exceed 40% of your verified net monthly income.
N° 09 Can a non-EU national apply?
Yes, with valid EU/EEA residency. Citizenship is not required, but proof of residency for the past twelve months is.
N° 10 Which documents do I need?
Three: a government photo ID, a proof of residency (utility bill or lease, dated within three months), and a proof of income (three payslips for salaried, or two years' tax returns for self-employed).
— III / PROCESS

How a file moves.

Five answers about the application path — from first click to wire transfer.

N° 11 How long does the application take?
The form itself takes about ten minutes. Document upload is another five. The total is rarely above twenty minutes for a properly prepared file.
N° 12 When will I have a decision?
Most applications receive a binding decision within a single business day. Complex files (large mortgages, mixed-jurisdiction businesses) may take 2–3 days. We commit to a definitive answer within five business days.
N° 13 When are funds disbursed?
After the contract is signed, funds typically reach your nominated bank account within 48 hours. Emergency-product files are disbursed the same business day where possible.
N° 14 Is the application secure?
Yes. The portal uses 256-bit SSL encryption, ISO 27001-aligned controls, and stores data exclusively within EU jurisdictions. We are GDPR-compliant and audited annually.
N° 15 Will I have a single point of contact?
Yes. Every active application is assigned a named adviser, who remains your contact for the full duration of the loan. The adviser does not change without notice.
— IV / REPAYMENT

Living with the monthly figure.

Five answers about repayment, restructuring, and what happens if life changes after the loan starts.

N° 16 Can I repay early?
Yes, without penalty. Early repayment, partial or full, is free of charge at any point in the loan's life. We do not charge an early-repayment fee on any of our twelve products.
N° 17 What if I miss a payment?
A missed payment triggers a five-day grace period, during which there is no fee and no credit-bureau report. After day five, a single nominal late fee applies. After day thirty, your adviser will phone you — typically to restructure, not to escalate.
N° 18 Can I restructure if my situation changes?
Yes. Restructuring — extending the term, pausing payments for up to three months, or modifying the schedule — is available without penalty if life genuinely intervenes (job loss, illness, family bereavement). Talk to your adviser early.
N° 19 Are there any hidden fees?
No. The total cost of the loan is set at signature and does not change. There is no origination fee, no servicing fee, no statement fee, no portal fee, and no early-repayment penalty.
N° 20 How is repayment collected?
By SEPA direct debit on a date you choose at signature (typically the 1st, 15th, or 28th of the month). You can change the date once per year, free of charge.
